New Year, New TBR!

2021 was a crazy year for the Fandomtastic Fam – we went from our Maastastic Instagram Lives to relaunching the whole brand under the Fandomtastic umbrella, started the podcast and the Patreon community, began the Fandomtastic shop, and welcomed some amazing authors to the ranks of our Fandomtastic Special Guests. And, somehow, in the midst of it all, we found time to read – and were lucky enough to stumble across some amazing books!

Even though we’re self-described mood readers, we wanted to challenge ourselves (and our Fandomtastic Fam!) to engage with some light prompts in 2022: 12 books across 12 months, and we like to think we’ve picked some fun themes! While we’d be remiss to force anyone to read a book, sometimes having a loose guideline can motivate us to make our way through the TBR! So without further ado, here are the Fandomtastic Reading Challenge prompts!

Here is a link to our IG Live, where we breakdown each of these prompts!

We’ll be sharing Instagram templates so as to keep up-to-date on our Fandomtastic Fam’s progress, so don’t forget to keep an eye out for those! Let us know – in an Instagram comment, on our Goodreads, or here, what you’re planning on starting with! (January kicks off with STEPH RECS, which makes it a perfect opportunity to catch up on any of the villainy, monstery, or sporty books Steph has mentioned throughout the podcast!

Some recommendations to get you started:

  1. The Lady of Rooksgrave Manor by Kathryn Moon
  2. Serpent & Dove by Shelby Mahurin
  3. The Duchess Deal by Tessa Dare
  4. Claimed by Elle Kennedy

We’ll, of course, be posting more of our recommendations for the prompts as we chug through 2022, but in the meantime, let us know which of Steph’s Recs you’re picking for January!

happy reading, fandomtastic fam!
